For years, Retroarch has been the indomitable platform of choice for discerning emulation connoisseurs on PC. The all-in-one package designed to load up all your favorite consoles and games from one place is available for Android, too, though the intricacies of setting it up are much less talked about. RetroArch is a program that combines emulators for tons of retro video game systems like the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Genesis, and others. It’s available for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS,. Retroarch is an all-in-one emulation frontend that removes the bugbear of faffing around in Windows to switch between your different emulators. By letting you directly download key emulators files. RetroArch (pronounced retro-arc) is a program which allows you to access a multitude of different gaming systems (emulators or cores as they are referred to in RetroArch) and games (ROMs) on your computer, console or mobile device. It has been continuously developed since 2010 by the Libretro Team and is built around the libretro API. RetroArch dumps the ISO of your game CD in its Downloads folder. So the next step is locating the Downloads folder. This is why in the installation portion of this guide I noted to install RetroArch in an easy-to-find location.

Dolphin is a Wii and Gamecube emulator. It has been ported to libretro and an alpha version of the core is available now for Windows and Linux! Version for macOS will be released at a later date.

It uses the original data files in order to work. What is nice about this one is that it has some very fancy graphics effects that it adds on top of the old game engine without it resulting in any stylistic clashes.
